Entries Limited to the number of dogs which can be run during available daylight hours and entries will close when the limits are reached. Bitches in

season must be confined and will be tested last. Please inform the

ratings secretary of bitches in season.

 

 

The Retrieving tests are held under the Weimaraner Club of America Rating Standards.

Owners and co-owners must be members of WCA.

Entries will close at 7:00pm (EST), Wednesday, September 13, 2006 with the Rating Test Secretary at the above address.  Phone entries will not be accepted.

 

 

 

Directions: From Virginia: Outer Loop of the Beltway (495) to Pennsylvania Ave (Rt 4).  East on Pa. Ave to Rt 301.  South on 301 for approx 7 miles & take a left onto Cherry Tree Crossing Rd (yellow caution light).  Make sure you stay on Cherry Tree Crossing Rd when it makes a right turn about a 1/4 mile later.  Then take a left at the first dirt road (watch for Weim sign).  Take dirt road for 400 yd. to parking area.  From Baltimore: South on 95 to Washington DC Beltway.  Take Inner Loop to 301 South.  Follow the above directions.

 

                                                                       

                        

 

 

 

 

RATING SCHEDULES & ENTRY FEES

Handlers should wear an article of fluorescent orange clothing.

All test levels are foot-handled only.

The ratings are not successive and any dog can be entered for any degree, provided the dog meets the minimum age requirements of 6 months of  age on the first advertised day of the rating test.

 

BIRDS

 Chukar and Mallard Ducks will be used.

 

 

PRIZES

Scoring is on a pass/fail basis. Each dog being recommended for a rating will be awarded an official WCA qualifying ribbon. Note: This ribbon only acknowledges the performance qualifications.   No ratings are to be considered official and

cannot be used until confirmed by the national office.

 

 

OTHER INFORMATION

Food will be available on the grounds.  No drinking water is available so bring

plenty of water for yourself & your dog.
